About me

I am an illustrator based in The Hague (The Netherlands) working both from home and in Utrecht at ‘Het huis van Betekenis’. With my work I focus on visual storytelling for picture books, comics or graphic novels.

I love the process of building up a foundation around the stories I work with and exploring how the different elements relate to each other; From searching the reason for a specific designs for characters to creating a believable setting for the lives they live.
